NanoGetic S.L. is an innovative biotech start-up company focused on the design, development and commercialization of advanced nanostructured systems.
History
NanoGetic S.L. was founded in July 2013 and is placed in the Health’s Technology Park (PTS), in the historic and university city of Granada (Spain).
NanoGetic operates in the field of nano-biotechnology specializations that make it unique in the Spanish national scene and one of the few worldwide offering the design and production of innovative and customizable nanosystems. The company provides an ad-hoc multifunctionalization of nanoparticles (NPs)
The company has highly qualified and internationally recognized team, state-of-the-art laboratory capabilities, standardized protocols and know how to perform proper supervision, advice and validation of different nanosystems, as a first step to the previous use of nanoparticles in biotechnological applications.
Mission
NanoGetic mission is to improve the ability of pharmaceutical and healthcare system through the development of innovative next generation devices for the treatment of diseases at the molecular level, using nanoparticle technology.

Rita Padilla Palma

Dr. Rita Padilla Palma is a Chemical Engineer that got her degree from the University of Granada. She got her PhD in Applied Physical Chemistry from the University Autonoma of Madrid (UAM) in 2007, working on the design and synthesis of new selective catalysts for catalytic different stages in reforming bioethanol. She has working experiences as R & D project manager, having participated in more than 20 projects during her career in prestigious public organizations such as UCM and ICP-CSIC, as well as in private companies. She is coinventor of three patents. Since 2010 she has specialized in the development of new products and applications in biotechnology and nanotechnology areas. Currently, she is the Chief Scientist Officer of NanoGetic S.L. with the responsibility of identifying and developing new products and services for the company.

Rosario M. Sánchez-Martín
Founder & Chief of Scientific Advisory Board
Dr Sánchez-Martín is Founder and Scientific Advisor of NanoGetic S.L. and the inventor of its core technology. Dr Sánchez-Martín is a global leader in the fabrication and application of nanotechnology tools to biomedicine who has developed his research career between Edinburgh (UK) and Granada (Spain). She directs whole research and development activities with a multi-disciplinary team of internal scientists. She focuses on the company’s overall strategic plan and contributes as an input provider. Dr Sánchez-Martín is Professor of Pharmaceutical Chemistry at the University of Granada and group leader in NanoChemBio group of Development of therapeutic and diagnosis strategies located in Pfizer-University of Granada-Junta de Andalucía Centre for Genomics and Oncological Research (GENyO).

Rossella Naselli got her B.Sc. and M.Sc. in Business Administration at the University of Catania (Italy). She has extensive experience in private sector business covering finance and administration as she worked in private companies in accounting, fundraising and strategy consulting for SME. In 2014, she joined NanoGetic S.L. where she has responsibility for the company’s finance department including general administration.
Victoria Cano-Cortés

Victoria Cano-Cortés is Founder of NanoGetic S.L. Victoria completed her B.Sc. in Biology at the University of Granada. After years devoted to teaching, the scientific concern led her to start a research career. She joined to NanoChemBio group in 2012 where she is doing her Ph.D. In 2013 together Prof Rosario M. Sánchez-Martín founded NanoGetic S. L.

Patricia Altea-Manzano completed her B.Sc. in Environmental Sciences and her M.Sc. in Biotechnology from the Pablo de Olavide University, Seville (Spain). In 2013, to perform her Ph.D, she joined the Tumor Metabolic Reprogramming group at the GENyO-Centre for Genomics and Oncological Research (Granada) working in collaboration with NanoChemBio. In 2014, into her Ph.D. programme, she started collaboration with NanoGetic S.L working on an innovative R&D project.
